How to Get a Circular Battery Symbol in iOS 7 (Video)
The battery symbol that shows how much power we have left is the same in almost every device, Apple or not. So why not change it up a bit? CircularBattery is a great little tweak that turns your battery symbol into a solid circle which gradually disappears in a clockwise motion to indicate how much power you have left. Personally, it give me a better idea of how much battery I have left than the traditional battery symbol.
I. Jailbreak your iPhone/iPad
To do this procedure you must be jailbroken. If you aren’t, you can head to our Jailbreak How To’s section and pick the jailbreak for your version of iOS (currently at the time of writing this is 7.0.4). Once done with that procedure and you have Cydia installed, head back here to continue.
II. Install Circular Battery
1. Open Cydia (if it isn’t still open from the section above).
2. Tap Search in the bottom right corner.
3. Type in Circular Battery.
4. Tap on Circular Battery when it shows up.
5. Tap Install in the top right corner.
6. Tap Confirm on the top right corner.
7. Tap Reboot Springboard, which will restart your phone.
III. Configure Circular Battery
1. Tap Settings.
2. Scroll down to Alkaline and tap it.
3. Tap Themes.
- You have the choice between the default black/white or blue circular battery symbol.
