How to Make your Keyboard Color Blue in iOS 7 (Video)
It’s free, so why not? And the blue color actually looks like “iOS 7 Blue,” so it looks great, too. Considering the name of this tweak is BlueBoard, blue is the only color available. You can change the background color behind the keys to a dark grey which also looks good, but that’s all the customization you’re going to get, which isn’t bad considering this tweak is free.
I. Jailbreak your iPhone/iPad
To do this procedure you must be jailbroken. If you aren’t, you can head to our Jailbreak How To’s section and pick the jailbreak for your version of iOS (currently at the time of writing this is 7.0.4). Once done with that procedure and you have Cydia installed, head back here to continue.
II. Install BlueBoard
1. Open Cydia (if it isn’t still open from the section above).
2. Tap Search in the bottom right corner.
3. Type in BlueBoard.
4. Tap on BlueBoard when it shows up.
5. Tap Install in the top right corner.
6. Tap Confirm in the top right corner.
7. Tap Restart.
III. Configure BlueBoard
1. Tap Settings.
2. Scroll down to BlueBoard and tap it.
3. Make sure it’s enabled.
4. Turn on Dark Keyboard to change the keyboard’s background from the light, bright, translucent grey to a dark grey. The keys will remain the same blue.
5. Tap Respring and wait for your phone to restart.
