How to Respond to Texts from Any App in iOS 7 (Video)
Couria is a tweak that lets you quickly open a messaging box using any combination of actions from anywhere on your phone, including from within apps. It acts very similarly to your iPhone’s Messages app, showing you your messages and conversations, also giving you the ability to type messages. At the moment, there doesn’t appear to be a way to create a new message. However, this tweak is still in beta and by no means perfect, but hopefully could be getting that functionality soon.
I. Jailbreak your iPhone/iPad
To do this procedure you must be jailbroken. If you aren’t, you can head to our Jailbreak How To’s section and pick the jailbreak for your version of iOS (currently at the time of writing this is 7.0.4). Once done with that procedure and you have Cydia installed, head back here to continue.
*Don’t be scared, it’s easy to unjailbreak your device.
II. Install Couria
1. Open Cydia (if it isn’t still open from the section above).
2. Tap Search in the bottom right corner.
3. Type in Couria.
4. Tap on Couria when it shows up.
5. Tap Install in the top right corner.
6. Tap Confirm on the top right corner.
7. Tap Reboot Springboard, which will restart your phone.
III. Configure Couria.
1. Tap Settings.
2. Scroll down to Couria
3. Tap Messages
4. Swipe the Enable switch till it shows green to enable Couria.
IV. Use Couria
1. Tap Activator
2. Tap a location from where you want to launch Couria. It can be from anywhere (such as within apps, or from the home screen, or both).
3. Tap an action you want to use to trigger Couria.
4. Scroll down and tap on Couria.
5. Press the Home button to take you back to the home screen, and try out your location/action combination.
6. Repeat this section to change locations/actions.
