Have been using the Cog. ROM for a week, its my first flashed ROM and I enjoy the differences over my stock rom in function and speed. Custom themes are fresh with the easy access layout. I will be checking out other themes I just hope they leave with at least the same feel good experience. Thanks
Just got my Captivate a few weeks ago, and to be clear this is the only custom ROM I have loaded so far, since I will most likely be switching up to a Moto Atrix as soon as preorders start. Big performance boost compared to the stock ROM, as well as killing all the Samsung and ATT apps, uses the official Rogers (Canada) 2.2 Froyo update as a base, so it is actually made to run on a Captivate. Haven’t been able to perceive much of a change in battery, especially since I probably use it more now that I run the Cognition ROM, and am unable to do a side-by-side comparison. Built-in adblocker for free apps is a big plus, but the biggest upside to this ROM as far as I can tell is they keep it simple and clean, leading to the biggest performance gains, very few force-closes/crashes. 5/5.
