So I loaded CM7 as a fresh install with no issues. It is a great improvement once again. I returned my Hero to stock from CM6 and tried the Z4 root method this time. Everything went smooth and easy. There are some good improvements going to 2.3 with CM7
I am having one issue that I have not found anything on, and that is my ringtones and notifications are playing from sounds in my music folder and not from the sounds I have set from the default ringtones or in the individual contact settings.
I am going to do a redo today and see if that takes care of the ringtone issue
also forgot – cannot get roam control to work on this version….any suggestions
