Great looking and very FAST rom. Just wish that it wouldn’t keep going back to the logo screen when it is booting up after it has been on for a while. if that would be fixed, i will definitely go back to this rom
I think I know what you mean. I kept getting the “UD” bootloader almost every 10 seconds of touching the phone. The same thing happened for me the first time I used CM7. After pulling the battery and restarting the phone its been working fine for me. Although, if pulling the battery is a necessary fix then how stable can the rom be?
so you are saying that if i pull the battery then the “UD” bootloader will no longer keep showing after touching the phone. if that is that case, i will dump the rom i have on there now and go back to this one
I get a very strong impression of CM7 with this rom. Its not a problem, but I tried this rom out hoping for something different. I love that its gingerbread based with tons of customizations. Here are a few pros and cons for those curious about the rom.
Pros:
-Ton of customization
-Sense clock widget w/ weather based on an old version of fancy widgets preloaded/free
-Very Fast and responsive
Cons:
-The “Ultimate Droid” logo/banner is plaster on the lock screen (not sure if its removable)
-False “font installer” which is supposed to change the system font but is just very misleading and worthless
-Resembles CM7 (which can go either way depending on personal preference)
I just rebooted my phone and the font I installed is shown throughout the entire platform 🙂 This rom is certainly growing on me. Theres still room for improvement, but i’d recommend giving it a try.
whenever i turn on wifi it reboots that is the only promblem i have everything else is great just fix the wifi promblem will definetly come back to this rom.
The software would only partially install my apps…sucks, because this ROM’s features looked promising, aside from this issue…
