Motorola Droid Pro’s OS gets updated

It’s no Gingerbread, but it does does bring a few minor improvements to the QWERTY-toting Motorola Droid Pro on Verizon.  Weighing in at 43.8MB, the update (ver. 3.8.7.XT610) brings much better syncing, preloaded Verizon VCAST  apps, WiFi access to external corporate networks, and other fixes on the MotoBLUR side of things.

As for the Droid Pro getting updated to Gingerbread, word is that Verizon was pondering over the idea around December last year along with other devices on its network, but almost four months down the line now, nothing further has been revealed.
