Pierre Cardin Designer Android Tablet Makes Official Debut

For those consumers looking for just the right mix of ‘luxury meets tech’, the Pierre Cardin tablet may be the perfect device to fit that profile. The designer tablet dubbed the PC-7006, houses some mild specs under its 7 inch touchscreen display leaving most of us wanting more on the hardware side. Device specs include a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor, 512MB of RAM, and just 4GB of storage space onboard. On the bright side, the tablet does have the option to increase storage through a microSD card slot.

The otherwise Wi-Fi only tab does have 3G support through an optional exterior dongle. Regardless of the tablet’s launch it only ships Android 2.2 Froyo, so let’s hope the designer street cred it brings outweighs its lacking of Android’s latest operating system power. Curious as to how much this designer accessory will cost? The tablet is priced at 275 British pounds, which would cost us here in the states around $450.
