Dell Streak 7 starts getting the Honeycomb 3.2 update

Shipped with Android 2.2, the Dell Streak 7 would have disappointed many with its smartphone-oriented OS when it was released back in March.  It seems that things are changing though, as the tablet-tailored Honeycomb 3.2 update is now on its way to 7-inched Streaks as we speak.  The update is said to have been received by many in the UK with the 3G version of the device, while the rest of the world should soon be getting it too.

But all’s not well though, as some users who got it feel that the 800×480 WVGA is too low a resolution to enjoy Honeycomb as it is meant to be, and there are reports also of the update wiping everything clean before it is installed. While there’s squat we can do about the resolution, there’s something we could do about the data – back it up!

If any of our readers own the Dell Streak 7, feel free to tell us below if you got the update and if you did, what you think about.
