HTC Droid Incredible Finally Gets Gingerbread Update
Despite HTC’s Droid Incredible being discontinued for a few months now, users have reported that the handset has finally started to receive some long awaited Gingerbread love. It appears that Verizon Wireless has decided to roll out the Android 2.3(Gingerbread) upgrade as an over the air update. HTC originally promised the Gingerbread update to hit the device in September, but missed the deadline and never provided a new timeline for anxious Droid Incredible users.
in addition to all of the Android 2.3 OS goodies, the update promises improved Bluetooth capabilities, fixed bugs related to low memory for SMS messages, voice commands, and apps loaded onto SD cards.
If you haven’t received the update yet, stay patient as Verizon has issued a gradual roll out to all Droid Incredible users.
