Amazon Kindle Fire gets Google Suite of apps, includes Android Market

The hordes of customers who bought the $199 dual-cored tablet must have been irked to find the less populated Amazon Appstore, but that can be changed with some effort now.  Thanks to the toils of XDA member, Jolleyboy, Kindle Fire users can now get access to the full Android Market provided the device is rooted.  Also included are the must-have apps that usually come preinstalled with any Android device including Maps, GMail, YouTube, GTalk, etc.

As we said earlier, the Kindle Fire in question needs to rooted and once that is achieved, it’s only a matter of moving the Vending.apk to the appropriate location, put in simple terms.  Hit up the XDA thread for the full process though, and thank the developer for his efforts if you want to.
