AT&T Confirms LG Nitro HD With December 4th Release Date

Ahead of LG’s big event, AT&T has confirmed the existence of the LG Nitro HD handset alongside a firm launch date of December 4th. The 4G LTE device houses a dual-core 1GHz chip underneath an impressive 4.5-inch AH-IPS LCD display with 720p. The handset is expected to present a slightly sharper display than the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and appears to be better outdoors with its 500-nit brightness.

Additional spec highlights include the Android 2.3 OS, an eight-megapixel rear camera with a 1.3-megapixel front camera, and a total of 20GB of available storage.

The LG Nitro HD will cost consumers $250 with a new 2 year contract, and is slated to ship on December 4th. Interested consumers will have to physically visit their nearest AT&T dealer, as this device is only available in stores.
