Verizon Officially Unveils the White Motorola Droid RAZR and the Motorola Droid XYBOARD Tablets in 10″ and 8.2″
We knew December was going to keep us busy, and apparently Verizon had their hands full as well with three new device announcements today. Big Red officially announced the arrival of the Droid XYBOARD, a 4G LTE tablet, in both 10″ and 8.2″ sizes. Additionally, we received confirmation that unicorns do exist in the form of the white Motorola Droid RAZR handset. All three devices will be unleashed this month, but no exact launch date has been released at this time.
The Droid XYBOARD tablets will both sport 1.2GHz dual-core processors, 1GB of RAM, 5MP rear cameras, 1.3MP front cameras, and Android 3.2 (Honeycomb). The slabs are expected to receive an upgrade to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) after their official launch. The devices on contract are priced as follows: the 10″ model – $529 (16GB), $629 (32GB), and $729 (64GB), 8.2″ model – $429 (16GB) and $529 (32GB).
No surprises with the white Droid RAZR. The sleek handset is identical to its grey and black relatives except it rocks a white edge around the handset. Check out the press shots and full press release below.
