AndroidMarket-update

The rollout to update the Android Market has already begun and if it hasn’t happened yet on your device, we’ve got the APK to make things easier.  Improvements include faster loading times which will be more of benefit to slower devices, as the dual-cored droid usually have no trouble loading the Market in no time.

Another major change is the substitution of shortcuts to widgets – this means that although the functionality of this remains the same, shortcuts will now be treated as widgets and will reside in the widget section if the device is running Android 4.0 OS.

The quickest way to ensure you have the update is to look under Settings in the Market for the version number and if it isn’t 3.4.4, here is the APK to push in manually.

The other way to know you get it is when you enter Market and it asks you to accept the terms and agreements.
