Foursquare For Android Adds NFC Beam Support, Checking In Just Got Cooler
Not to be overshadowed by the recently revamped Google+ app for Android, Foursquare has also released a noteworthy update of their own.
Foursquare for Android now offers NFC Beam support, which means when one of your friends checks into a location before you, a simple touch between Galaxy Nexus devices will have you checked in as well. It almost makes copying your friends slightly cool. Sadly, this only works if you have at least one other friend sporting a NFC device with the same passion for checking in everywhere.
