Angry Birds Space Scheduled For March 22nd Launch, Gets Help From NASA and National Geographic

Angry Birds has truly taken the mobile world by storm, and Rovio isn’t planning on slowing down as the company has just announced what it’s describing as its biggest launch since the original game. Introduced as Angry Birds Space, the game is slated for a March 22nd release, and brags NASA and National Geographic as its launch partners. We’re not sure how NASA and Nat Geo were incorporated, but this game is bound to capture some serious attention.

Angry Birds Space will feature new physics to work through like zero gravity and a new “lightspeed destruction” feature. Rovio is keeping most of the details surrounding the new game quiet including what mobile platforms will be supported at launch. However, Angry Birds enthusiasts can expect a big launch including “mobile gaming, animation, retail, and publishing.” While we wait for more details to surface as March gets closer, fans can check out the teaser video above.
