Android 4.0.4 IMM76D Leak for Nexus S 4G

An official ICS release date has yet to be announced for the Nexus S 4G, but the folks over at Brief Mobile were able to get their hands on a leaked build. The leak includes an updated signed_radio.img, boot.img, bootloader.img, recovery.img, system.img, and userdata.img. From what we can tell, this is the full official IMM76D ICS ROM that is slated to hit the Nexus S 4G as an OTA update soon. Considering the GSM Nexus S just received its own ICS love a few days ago, Sprint’s variant should be next on the horizon. For anyone not wanting to wait any longer for the official update, hit up the source link below for full download instructions.

As with any unofficial build, proceed with caution and don’t forget to back up your USB storage (SD card equivalent) files. According to some feedback  the update totally wiped out some user’s data (music/photos/files/etc), and we’d hate to see that happen to our readers. If you do decide to download the update, let us know how it treats you and your Nexus S 4G in the comments below.
