HTC Evo One: First Press Shot Leak for Sprint
With all the buzz surrounding HTC’s One X and One S we were waiting to see what HTC had in store for Sprint users. Thanks to PocketNow, it looks like a smartphone graded right in the middle is destined for the Now Network. The press shot shown above is that of the HTC Evo One, or otherwise known under codename “Jewel”. The Evo One is expected to house a 4.7-inch 720p display, a dual-core Snapdragon processor, and LTE support. Additional rumors have the Evo One packing Android 4.0, an 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel camera, a 2650mAh battery, and a kickstand as part of the whole moderately designed package. Rumored specs aside, the Evo One is said to introduce a new cellular broadband technology to the Now Network, which should breathe new life into Sprint’s device portfolio.
Pricing and exact availability for the Evo One have yet to be confirmed, but Sprint and HTC have a press event slated for tomorrow which should answer all the questions we have about this device.
