How to Move Apps to SD Card on your Android Phone

Some of the apps from Google Play store require that your phone should have a certain amount of free memory to run the app. If you have installed large apps and games on your phone, then your phone memory must be full because all the apps get installed on the phone’s internal memory. You can move some of the apps or games to the SD card but older versions of Android don’t have an inbuilt feature to do so. Here comes an app which you can use to move apps or games to your phone’s SD card to free up phone’s internal memory. Here’s how you can use the app.

I. Downloading Required Files:

1. Download the App 2 SD app from here. (Google Play Link)

II. Moving Apps to SD Card from Phone:

Yeah, we like to share useful things over here on this site.

I’m glad that it helps you 🙂

    1. it only moves the “MOVABLE” apps and files it will never move ur apps .exe file to sd card never so its just a bit better than having the whole chunk of files in sd ,bette only .exe 🙂 nothing much in it bro.

  1. Guys, i have already ROOTED my phone, but don’t appear “Move to SD Card”, appears “Move to Internal Memory”, what should i have to do?

    1. It means, the app you are trying to move to SD card is already installed on it. You can move it to internal storage only.

Try moving any other app which is installed on the Internal Storage and you should be able to see the Move to SD card option.

      Hope it helps!

  2. useless. this is not so much usefull.. we also send our apps from internal mermory to sd. from seeting–>manage application

  3. I have a Droid Razor M. When I use this app I get the message “The device does not have a real primary external storage, or the primary external storage is emulated.” I am using a 16gb sd card, which contains music and e-books, which I have no problem accessing. Any thoughts on what is wrong?
