How to Disable the Water Droplet Sound on your Samsung Galaxy S3

I. Disabling Water Droplet Sound on Samsung Galaxy S3:

1. Open Menu on your phone by tapping the Apps icon from the homescreen.

2. Go to Settings>>Sound on your phone.

3. Uncheck the box next to Touch sounds.

4. Exit the Settings and go back to your homescreen.

There you go ! You have successfully disabled the water droplet sound on your Galaxy S3. From now on, it won’t make any sound when you touch a button on your phone.

  1. Yes, I find that water drop sound highly irritating, i know how to disable it but wish i could replace it with a click noise or something

  2. Yes that sound is Highly annoying. I can’t stand it. I also believe that my s3 did a firmware upgrade the other day (just recently) and thought that it might have an option this time, but there wasn’t. Once you have a to change it to something else please email. I beg you.

  3. My touch sounds (and wi-fi since we’re on the subject of malfunction) are turning themselves back on without my knowledge or approval. Any help?

  4. This is a common bug, not malware. It is easy to replicate.
    -disable “Touch sounds”
    -then go into the camera app, then switch from either still to vid or vid to still
    -you will see the “Touch sounds” are now checked by itself

    You will not hear the change until the phone reboots or some other service is restarted.
