iOS App of the Day: Key Ring Rewards Card

Show me a rewards card or a way to rack up points towards a prize or a discount and I’m all yours. The only problem with this is that my key chain ends up looking like a hot mess. Not only is carying plastic key ring rewards card slightly primitive, it’s annoying and time-consuming to sift through 34 of them at the register in an attempt to find the right one. Thankfully, the stars of technology have arrived and given us a useful utility app called Key Ring Rewards Card that releases you from the confines of plastic or paper loyalty, membership, library cards or coupons.

• Not all retailers will be able to scan the code or coupons from the app, could cause some frustration at check out

How it works:

• Download the app
• To get started tap on the menu button
• press the Add Card button to create your first virtual card
• Key Ring’s barcode scanner will appear and auto scan your barcode
• If it won’t scan or you don’t have a barcode, tap on the Won’t Scan or No Barcode buttons
• Fill in the remaining fields and press the Create Card button
• To sign up for new programs tap on the Join Programs button
• You’ll see a list of nearby businesses available for instant program enrollment, press one to get started
• Some merchants have Key Ring signs that include a QR code, scan this code to save some time
• Tap Enroll Now and complete the form fields
• Tap on the offers button  to redeem deals
• Simply show the deal coupon to the merchant
• You can also email the deal to yourself for printing later
