Motorola XT926 AKA the DROID RAZR HD Makes a FCC Appearance, Verizon LTE and Global GSM Radio

Usually when a previously leaked smartphone hits the FCC it means that an impending launch is looming near. We hope that this is the case with the Motorola XT926, or better known as the DROID RAZR HD.

According to the latest FCC filing, the device was tested for Verizon’s 3G (CDMA 800/1900) and LTE networks. The smartphone also comes equipped with GSM and WCDMA radios, which indicates a strong possibility for global roaming capabilities. Additionally, one of the key features we saw from the FCC image (shown above) was the NFC chip included in the device. These features alone could all point towards a hot summer option for Verizon customers.

As with all FCC filings, exact pricing or a launch date have been excluded from the invigorating reading material. However, now that this little jewel has cleared the FCC we should see it make a more official debut before summer’s end. In the meantime, you can get all your FCC thrills on here.
