New LG Spectrum User Guide Now Available, Shows Off ICS Skills

We just caught wind that LG is waiting on Verizon to release their Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Spectrum, and it looks like they are just dying to get the ball rolling. LG has already posted a a new user guide for the device which eloquently shows off a multitude of Android 4.0 tips and tricks.

The new guide outlines the standard ICS stuff including: task switching, notification swiping, and simple folder creation. Spectrum users can also look forward to revamped features like the built in the ability to create or use custom icons (without requiring a 3rd party launcher) and a “Clean View” gesture for temporarily hiding everything on your home screen. Good stuff!

So, it looks like LG is rip roaring ready to unleash its ICS update for Spectrum users, but are just stuck waiting on the Big Red camp. This wouldn’t be the first time a manufacturer grew tired of waiting on final approval and went ahead and published details surrounding an Android 4.0 update.

In the interim, LG Spectrum users can take a peak at the new user manual at the link below.
