Rumor: Quad-Core HTC One X+ Heading to T-Mobile in the Fall
According to TmoNews, the HTC One X will be heading towards T-Mobile in the form of the One X+. The device was spotted today on an internal document, which coincides with recent rumors surrounding the variant. The One X+ is rumored to be a more powerful variant of the already successful One X, with an anticipated fall launch.
If the One X + proves to be true, it should house Nvidia’s Tegra 3 plus chipset, a 1.7GHz processor, and Android 4.0. and is expected to ship running Android 4.0. As T-Mobile has yet to make the announcement official, we don’t know much else about the elusive phone or when we can expect it. We’re hoping to learn more about the device in the coming weeks.
I was wondering why all of the US carriers were getting dual-core devices instead of quad-core like the European counterparts… Nice to see one of them is getting the quad-core version.
The quad code processor found in European phones doesn’t play nice with our 4g networks.
Ah, this is the first I’ve heard of this. Interesting though that now they are *allegedly* bringing it over here now. Just needed more time to work on it maybe?
