Verizon Finally Approved ICS Update for Motorola Droid 4, OTA Should Be Coming Soon

Great news for Motorola Droid 4 owners, as the Verizon update to Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich has finally been approved. The carrier recently published the associated documentation on its website already, so it looks like you shouldn’t have much longer to wait.

Now that the update materials have been published it will probably be less than a week before the ICS update begins to roll out. Droid 4 users can expect all the normal goodies that ICS brings including enhanced quality pictures, improved gallery performance, global roaming abilities, a more stable system overall, and Verizon’s Remote Diagnostics tool.
