Official Ice Cream Sandwich Build Leaks for HTC Thunderbolt, Thank You Team BAMF
Good news for all of you HTC Thunderbolt owners, as an official Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0.3) build has been released in the form of a beautiful ROM. Thankfully, the developers over at Team BAMF got tired of waiting for Verizon to approve the update, so they took matters into their own hands by releasing the ROM out into the wild.
Build number 7.00.605.2 will move the Thunderbolt up to Sense 3.6, which most users will find themselves satisfied with the experience. Anyone who is willing to give this ROM a whirl can expect a separate yet awesome “Quick Settings” tab, and an entirely revamped settings menu to mirror the ICS style. Oh, and don’t worry about HTC’s spyware, as it has been removed from the ROM.
