The LG Optimus L9 Unveiled for T-Mobile: 4.5″ qHD Display, ICS, 1 GHz Dual-Core Processor

With every week brings forth a new device launch, and today we get to officially welcome the LG Optimus L9, which is headed straight for T-Mobile. The two companies confirmed that the mid-range smartphone would be added to T-Mobile’s device portfolio and just in time for the holidays. 

So, what can consumers look forward to with the L9? As earlier rumors suggested, spec highlight for this Android 4.0 ICS packed smartphone include a 4.7-inch IPS qHD (960×540) display, a 1.0 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor, 1GB of RAM, 5 megapixel camera, VGA front, and  4GB of internal storage. While these specs won’t have you jumping for extreme joy, it’s certainly a beefy enough mid-range device.

Currently, the Optimus L9 is only for sale in Korea and select international markets but US consumers can expect this device to hit retail shelves this fall. Interested consumers can continue reading below for the full press release.

Built with a sleek, stylish frame that is only 0.36-inches thin, and surrounded by premium metal trim to provide designer-level styling, the LG Optimus L9 is the latest in the style-focused L-Series of smartphones from LG.
