How to Unroot the Motorola Droid X

Have you been searching a way to unroot your Motorola Droid X smartphone? Well, your search ends here as we’ve come up with a neat and clean guide that teaches you how you can unroot your Droid X phone. As we’re going to use a tool in the procedure, you won’t need to type any commands. Just hit the button and you’re done. Let’s see how you can do it.

I. Before You Begin:

1. You must have rooted your device using the procedure given here. If you rooted it using any other method, we do not guarantee that the following procedure will work for you.

2. This should reinstate the warranty that you lost after rooting the device.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. SuperOneClick (It is attached in the first post)

III. Unrooting the Motorola Droid X:

1. After downloading the SuperOneClick, put it on your Desktop.

2. Head to Menu>>Settings>>Applications>>Development on your device and enable the USB debugging option.

3. Connect the device to your PC via USB cable.

4. Right-click on the SuperOneClick.exe file and choose Run as administrator.

5. There’ll be an Unroot button in the tool, click on it.

6. Follow all the instructions displayed on your screen.

7. When the unrooting’s done, reboot the device.

8. You should be unrooted now!

Brilliant! Your phone has successfully been unrooted and the Superuser app is no longer there on your Menu!
