  1. Is there any recommendation for app that could root alcatel ot990???

I`we tried with gingerbreak.apk, z4root.apk, rootme.apk, but none of them did actually root my phone….

the reason I’m looking for .apk file is that micro usb connector on my
phone get loos, and I`ve managed to fix it somehow, but only charging is
functioning in right way, my pc is not picking my phone when I connect
cable, so I guess that not all of pins on micro usb connector are
actually connected to phone motherboard in a right way….

thanks in advance for any suggestion or tip ….

  2. what is that?
    fastboot erase recovery
    fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
    fastboot reboot

erasing what? which recovery? recovery.img is understood as file name. thats no problem. But what is recovery?
