AT&T Lowers Next Device Prices, Just Enough To Compete With Verizon Edge Program
Who doesn’t love a little friendly competition in the wireless world? Well, we do especially when it means lower prices from the big dog US carriers. In the case of AT&T’s Next upgrade prices, they were not stacking well against the lower prices of the Verizon Edge program, until now. Ma Bell has lowered the monthly payments for select devices and done so under the radar.
For example, the Samsung Galaxy S 4 and Apple iPhone 5 have been slashed to $27 from the original $32.50. Prices are also reduced for Nokia and Blackberry handsets.
AT&T users will want to jump on this deal now. The carrier did confirm that this is a limited time promotion.
