How to Disable the Glance Lock Screen on the Nokia Lumia 1020 (Video)
Nokia added a “glance” screen to their Windows Phone devices. The idea was great, put a low powered screen where you can get quick information like the time without having to unlock the device. Unfortunately, they didn’t combine this very well with the existing lock screen so it sort of feels like you have to unlock the device twice when this is enabled. Personally, I disabled mine and figured I’d show you how you can do the same if you want.
1. Go to Settings.
2. Go to Display and Touch.
3. Swipe over to Glance.
4. Change Glance to Off.
