How to Flash a Custom Recovery on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition)

So you have rooted your Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) and want to flash a custom recovery on it? No problem, this guide should help you do that. A custom recovery’s useful in many terms, including the ability to flash custom ROMs, create backups and so on. Follow our guide below and you should have a custom recovery up and running on your device in no time:

I. Before You Begin:

1. You must have rooted your device before doing this procedure. Please head to our How to Root the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) first, finish it, then return to this procedure and continue.

2. Your device should have at least 50% of battery life left.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. GooManagerQR Code (Google Play Link)

III. Flashing a Custom Recovery on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition):

1. Head over to the Google Play and download and install the GooManager app on your device.

2. Once the app’s been installed, launch it from your App Drawer.

3. Hit Menu followed by Install OpenRecoveryScript.

4. Hit Yes.

5. You’ll see the model number of your device on your screen. If it’s correct, hit Yes.

6. It’ll then start downloading and installing the recovery on your device.

7. Once the recovery’s been installed, reboot your device.

8. You’re all set!

    Yeah, this doesn’t work because Goomanager is no longer. Can you recommend a replacement? I realize that since the most recent comment on here is 2 years old I’m likely late to the party…..but still?
