How to Stop Push Email on an iPad
Whenever a new email arrives in your inbox, your iPad alerts you about it by lighting up. While this might be helpful to some people, other people might not be interested in it and don’t want disturbed when they’re working. There’s a simple workaround to disable push email on an iPad and the guide below shows exactly how to do that.
I. Before You Begin:
1. This should work for other iOS products as well, including the iPhone and iPod Touch.
II. Stopping Push Email on an iPad:
1. Tap the Settings icon on your screen.
2. Head to Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
3. Turn the Push slider to OFF.
4. And you’re done!
Awesome! From now on, you won’t be alerted when a new email arrives in your inbox, and you will have to check your emails manually!
