Video: Is this the Sony Ericsson Z1 Playstation Phone?

There’s is already an unveiling date of December 9th being passed around, but a little sneak peak never hurt nobody right? When we last reported on the PSP Phone, it didn’t have a name, had a speculative list of features and a picture that Engadget insists is for real.  Now, we have a blurry quality video that allegedly shows the upcoming phone in action, put up by techblog.gr and also a name for the device, Sony Ericsson Z1.

As you can see from the video, the device (assuming it is the Z1) is pretty big, pointing to the upper end of the rumored display screen at 4.1 inches.  Other than that, there’s not much else you can make of the device from the video, and never once in the 2-min vid does the user show off the slide-out PSP-like controls.  Features like the 1GHz Qualcomm processor, 512MB RAM, 1GB ROM, Gingerbread 2.3 Android operating system, and microSD slot are yet to be substantiated, but these could be taken for granted given the current Android phone trend where these are considered pretty standard.

With less than a week to go before the Dec 9th announcement, we really don’t have to wait that much to get some real info but count on us to keep you informed just in case something pops up before that.
