T-Mobile LG Optimus G2X coming on April 15th, G-Slate priced
We had it marked down for the 20th of April on our calendars, but it looks like we will see the Optimus G2X released well before that date (at least according to Android Central). Android Central has received a snapshot revealing the rebranded-for-T-Mobile Optimus 2x scheduled for a release on April 15th although the exact price seems to have been left out.
The same snapshot also reveals that the LG G-Slate with its 3D display and Honeycomb OS will be priced at $529.99 with a two-year contract and after a mail-in rebate, but in this case, the little piece of paper fails to reveal the date on which it would become available.
The Optimus G2X features a Tegra 2 dual-core processor, 4-inch touchscreen display, HDMI-out and an 8MP camera (with a secondary video call camera on the front). The device runs an unmolested version of Android 2.2 for that Pure Google Experience and boasts of speeds up to 21Mbps on HSPA+. Be sure to catch our hands-on of the device during the CTIA.
