For all the Motorola Droid Pro users, your day has finally arrived marking the 2.3.3 Gingerbread update now available. The Droid Pro marketed at Blackberry users now comes with the latest and greatest of the Android builds. The Gingerbread update has been in the wings for 6 months now but well worth the wait. Motorola users have reported being able to update successfully without issue. The update offers the new Motorola Blur skin and all the bells and whistles that only the Gingerbread can supply. If your Droid Pro has not received the update, you should not have to wait much longer.

    No update yet for me. Other than a lower res and small 3.1″ screen I love my Droid Pro, I even like Moto Blur more than Sense! I just don’t see why folks hate on Blur so much.

      Why do you like the Moto Blur better? I enjoyed using the Sense but would appreciate a user’s opinion before I purchase a new phone.

    I love this Motorola droid phone, I can do so much with it! Anyway, I’m glad to hear about this update. The Droid was updated multiple times, it had very good support.
