Android Powered Pantech Crossover Added to AT&T Lineup
AT&T announced yesterday the first Pantech Crossover Smartphone in the US would indeed be added to their Android Lineup on June 5. The Pantech Crossover benefits include a 3.1 inch touch screen, a full slide out keyboard, 3 megapixel digital camera with camcorder, 600 MHz processor, and the AllSport GPS app. The phone also boasts Mobile Hotspot capability. For those interested in a tethering plan, the Pantech Crossover can provide a Mobile Hotspot for up to 5 Wi-Fi enabled devices.
Marketed to the first time smartphone user, the Pantech Crossover, ensures a seamless messaging and social media intergration. The device will be running Android 2.2 and is said to have taken a simple approach to the Android platform. The side sliding, full QWERTY keyboard makes text messaging, surfing the web, and emailing a cinch.
