Nokia officially unveiled their first MeeGo based smartphone today in Singapore. The beautiful design of the MeeGo based device is undoubtedly sleek and sophisticated for a smartphone. Nokia did not announce availability or pricing of the device, but they did highlight the below features:

  • 8 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics
  • NFC support
  • 16GB or 64GB internal storage
  • Intuitive “one swipe” gesture interface
  • 3.9 inch AMOLED screen
  • Dolby Digital Plus decoding and Dolby Headphone post processing technology

The N9 will be available in black, cyan, and magenta with a launch expected later this year.
