Many Motorola Droid 2, Droid 2 Global, and DroidX2 users have been patiently waiting for the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) update to arrive. However, sources at Droid-Life claim that Verizon has rejected all Android 2.3 updates from Motorola after a list of bugs surfaced from the DroidX’s 2.3 update. Reported issues include lag time, re-booting, and a short battery life.
Inside sources at Motorola claim update teams have been assembled to start resolving the issues. No official statement has been made by Verizon or Motorola.
