Toshiba Thrive now rooted and rocking ClockworkMod Recovery

It’s various problems aside, the Toshiba Thrive is still a good tablet and the deal just got a lot more sweeter.  Not only is the device rooted enabling superuser access, it now has its own version of ClockworkMod Recovery – a sign that custom ROMs are not far off in the future.  This has been made possible thanks to the folks over at ThriveForums and the solution has been tested on two Thrive tablets, with more and more joining the camp as we speak.

The procedure to achieving this on your Thrive is available on ThriveForums and seems plain enough, but those new to the game need to exercise caution and back off until a more simplified solution is devised.

And thanks to the Tabletroms.com devs as well!
