Toshiba-Fujitsu announced that they will be the first official vendor to launch the world’s premier ‘Mango’ device. The announcement followed right behind news that the Windows Phone 7.5 was finally released to manufacturers.
The unique smartphone will launch in Japan only to start, with a less unique name,the IS12T. Exclusively with carrier KDDI, the IS12T will also be the first Windows Phone-powered smartphone to launch in Japan. Japanese consumers will be able to enjoy the below device highlights:
- 1GHz Snapdragon processor
- 32GB of storage
- 13.2-megapixel camera
- 3.7-inch WVGA display
The Toshiba-Fujitsu announcement will hopefully be the first of many Windows Phone partners to launch the ‘Mango’ line.
