Droid Bionic Gets FCC Teardown, Manual Confirms Global Calling Features And More

There’s no better source outside of the FCC when it comes to device specs and this time it’s the Motorola Droid Bionic getting the official FCC teardown treatment. During the teardown process, the FCC has now made a draft of the device’s manual public alongside additional device photos confirming many of the speculated specs.

Confirmed specs include a 1GHz dual-core processor, 4G LTE, a 4.3″ screen, Netflix ready, and a rear-facing camera capable of capturing 1080p video. The device appears to support LTE, CDMA, GSM, and UTMS meaning the world phone would support over 220 countries, but unlike its WiMax counterpart the Photon, UMTS support is limited to 2100MHz only.

The Bionic also appears to have induction charging capabilities built in, but we’re still anticipating the necessary charging dock to be a sold seperately as an extra cost to the user. Continue on below for a peak at some of the FCC Bionic pictures.
