Sprint Rumored to Maintain Unlimited Data Plans for iPhone 5 Launch

Ever since  AT&T and Verizon moved away from unlimited data plans and switched over to tiered data, it left a small window of opprotunity for some of the smaller carriers to stand out. Sprint, the nation’s third largest carrier, is still widely viewed as an underdog in the wireless carrier industry. The Now Network is hoping to find that competitve edge with those consumers who are still desiring the flexibility that a true unlimited data plan can offer.

According to Bloomberg sources, Sprint is not only expected to get the iPhone 5 within the next month, but will retain their unlimited data plans as an attractive incentive to choose them over AT&T or Verizon. Right now the only people who stand to relish in all the glory unlimited data has to offer are those lucky folks who have been grandfathered in by AT&T or Verizon. Any new customers eager to show off their new iPhone 5 will be stuck selecting a limited tiered data package. That is unless the rumors about Sprint turn out to be true.

Currently Sprint has neither confirmed or denied the speculation, but as the iPhone 5 launch looms in the near future, we shouldn’t stand to wait much longer to find out.
