Nexus S will get Ice-Cream Sandwich too – Google
We knew this would happen some time soon, but it’s always good to hear it straight from the company itself. Google’s own Gabe Cohen, talking at the Galaxy Nexus event, revealed that they are “currently in the process for releasing Ice Cream Sandwich for Nexus S.” Gabe went on to say that the update won’t be limited to the Nexus line or upcoming devices but should “theoretically should work for any 2.3 device” – this by far is the biggest news of all for people hanging on to their older droids and can’t upgrade to the Google Nexus any time soon.
