Video: Galaxy Nexus promo out, hints at Verizon availability
While the announcement earlier today revealed that the Galaxy Nexus will be out in the US in November, the specifics on which carriers will be playing host to this shiny new droid were left out. But this promotional video you see above is a tad more liberal with that info than the entire event.
Right at the 21-second mark, when they are showing off the new notifications bar, you can catch a glimpse of the words “Verizon Wireless” clearly at the bottom of the device’s display. Does this mean that Verizon, with its LTE network, will be the first (or even the exclusive carrier) to pick this beast up? Very likely that the carrier is cooling off after the recent Droid RAZR announcement before picking up the next big thing, perhaps, but we should be expecting an announcement in short order in the coming days. We’ll wait and see.
