Samsung Galaxy S II and LG Optimus 3D Get In On the Ice Cream Sandwich Action
Thanks to the hardworking hacker community, we can now enjoy the sweetness of Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) on the Samsung Galaxy S II and the LG Optimus 3D. The best part was that we didn’t have to wait long, as Google just released the source code for Android 4.0 four short days ago.
Exciting as this sounds, the ICS port is still very much in an alpha stage. Bluetooth, WiFi and other radios aren’t functioning properly yet, but we’re betting we’ll see these issues fixed in the near future as additional releases make their way out into the wild.
