Xbox Companion App Launches December 6th for WP7 Users Alongside Xbox 360 Fall 2011 Dashboard Update
With the Xbox 360 fall 2011 dashboard update just a day away from being released out into the wild, WP7 users will also receive an added treat in the form of the Xbox Companion app release.
The Companion app allows WP7 users access to search the Xbox catalog of games and movies straight from their WP7 handset. Users will also receive second screen information on what console is currently being played, access to view friend activity, or act as a remote control.Â
The Xbox Companion app will be available for free, and will be up for grabs on Tuesday (December 6th). For anyone impatiently awaiting tomorrow’s arrival, check out our screenshots below for a temporary fix.
