How To Check If Your Apps Are Using Too Many Resources in Windows 8
Windows 8 has adopted a feature from most smartphones; the ability to see what apps are using what resources in a much more intuitive and convenient way. This can be very helpful in determining why your computer might be going slow, why its battery isn’t lasting as long as you’d like or the causes of other problems.
1. Hover over the bottom or top right corner of the screen, to Open the Charms menu.
2. Search for Task Manager.
3. At the bottom of the Task Manager, select More Details.
4. To see all sorts of useful information on the Apps that you have been using, use the performance and app history tabs.
