Samsung Releases ChatON Version 2.0: Support For 60 Languages and New Multiscreen Feature

If you are in the market for a new messaging service, Samsung may offer the right fit for your device. The company has just released version 2.0 of its ChatON web-based messaging app which is compatible for Android, iOS, Blackberry, Bada and web browsers. That pretty much covers anyone you want to instant message on-the-go. Users can video, audio, or image messages to individuals or to a whole group.

Like a micro social network, ChatON 2.0 allows users to create their own personal profiles and post status updates for friends to see and comment on. The comments can be posted to profile pages whether the user is on or offline, and ChatON’s Interaction Rank gives users useful information and statistics about their conversations with friends.

Version 2.0 offers support for over 200 countries and 60 languages, with a new multiscreen feature that enables users to message over five separate accounts at the same time.

ChatON is preloaded on all Samsung mobile devices and available for download at Samsung Apps.
