After making its CES debut this past January, we’ve been patiently awaiting U.S. pricing and availability for the Sony Xperia ZL handset. Thankfully the wait is finally over, as the company announced that the ZL will indeed make its way to the U.S. unlocked, and in both an HSPA+ and 4G LTE versions.
Consumers should expect to fork over a significant amount of money due to the fact that the handset is not being launched through a carrier. However, if money isn’t an issue for you, then the LTE variant is priced at $760, while the HSPA+ variant is priced at $720. Spec highlights include a stunning 1080p Full HD screen, an impressive 13MP 1080p camera, one-touch connectivity via NFC and a compact 5″ design. Color choices come in white, red, and black.
Interested consumers can pre-order their device here, Sony has an expected ship date of 04/18/2013.
